Mr. Tharaldson got us excited about the Science Fair by showing us some very exciting projects that we were able to watch and even be a part of!! Our challenge was to build the tallest freestanding structure using ONLY the materials they were given. Those materials were 20 sticks of spaghetti, 1 yard of tape, 1 yard of string, and 1 large marshmallow. The marshmallow was to be placed at the very top of the structure. This was a great team building activity that was enjoyed by all!!!
We were lucky to have the Freeze football managers and a football player come into our classroom and read to us. It was cool to have football player Ty, (Trig's brother) and the 3 managers, Reese, (Mrs. Rustad's daughter), Eylie Homme, and Addi Bakke. We also got to hang a football jersey that was signed by all the players and managers in our classroom for a week.

Mrs. RustadThis is my fourth year teaching in Newfolden and I am so excited for another great year! I was a 4th and 5th grade teacher in the Greenbush-Middle River School District before coming to MCC. My family and I live about 10 miles outside of Newfolden. My husband, Mark, and I have two children; our son, Keegan is 19 and our daughter, Reese is 17. They are both active in sports and keep us busy cheering them on! I look forward to an amazing year ahead in 4th grade at Newfolden Elementary. Archives
